Peace Essay Competition
(INBOUND)
Big congratulation to Maryjane, our inbound student from
D. 6330, who win the 1st price for the peace essay competition held by the Istanbul Rotary Club. She went to Istanbul for the price and speech and return back to Thailand safely.
The essay is about peace in an interconnected world and how it is important to keep hope in your heart when thinking about global peace. Part of her reason for writing the essay was because participating in an exchange has opened my eyes to the fact that harmony across nations is vital to any fight for peace.

วันหยุดฤดูใบไม้ผลินี้ ผมได้เดินทางไปที่ เมืองชิคาโก, รัฐอิลลินอยส์ เเละเห็นว่าที่ที่ไป ไม่ห่างจาก สำนักงานใหญ่ โรตารีสากล มาก จึงได้เเวะไปเยี่ยมชม เเละได้พูดคุยกับทางเจ้าหน้าที่โรตารีที่นั่น เขาจึงพาเข้าไปเยี่ยมชมพิพิธภัณฑ์ เเละบอร์ดจัดเเสดง กิจกรรมต่างๆ ที่ทางโรตารีมี เเละได้ถ่ายรูปกับ ห้องทำงานเเรก ซึ่งเป็นห้องจำลองจากห้อง 711 ซึ่งคุณพอล เเฮร์ริส หนึ่งในผู้ก่อตั้งของโรตารี ใช้เป็นห้องทำงาน เเละได้พาขึ้นไป ที่ชั้น 17 ซึ่งเป็น ส่วนที่จัดเเสดง เกี่ยวกับ หอศิลป์ (Arch Klumph Society) ซึ่งเชิดชูผู้มีส่วนสนับสนุนหลักของมูลนิธิ, ห้องประชุมของผู้นำโรตารี ทั่วโลก ซึ่งทางโรแทเรียน ได้บอกว่าจะมีการจัดประชุมครั้งต่อไปในเดือนหน้า เเละส่วนสุดท้ายคือ การได้เข้าไปในห้องทำงานของ ประธานโรตารีสากล เเละทางโรแทเรียนได้ให้ธง ของประธานโรตารีสากลในปีนี้ ซึ่งทุกปีจะมีการเปลี่ยนธงให้เป็นชื่อของประธาน เเละทั้งหมดนี้เป็นกรณีพิเศษ เพราะปกติถ้าต้องการจะเข้าเยี่ยมชม พิพิธภัณฑ์ จะต้องจองล่วงหน้าเท่านั้นครับ

Thai Cooking Class

Thai cooking class for our inbounds on Saturday 23 November at Mae Sri Ruen Kitchen. This interactive session will give you the opportunity to learn how to prepare some of Thailand’s most iconic dishes through hands-on practice.
Country Fair
Inbound
Inbound students will share their contries to the outbound candidates. This is a great opportunity for outbound students to gain insights into different cultures, traditions, and daily life.
District Conference
Inbound
The District Conference is a fantastic opportunity for inbound exchange students to showcase their home countries’ cultures through a variety of performances, including traditional dance, music and singing. These performances help understand cultural and strengthen friendships among different nationalities.
